How do you expect your customers to remember your business when you logo contains graphics that are so complicated that they are hard to remember. Keep it mind that the best logos are always ones that contain a few simple colors along with easy to remember shapes and graphics. Too many new companies try to become over creative and believe that a very unique logo is the best way to go. However, many times this causes people to forget about it and essentially forget about your business.
Once you have got a logo that you like use it as much as you can. Don’t be afraid to overuse your logo, besides putting it on your sign and on your business cards, place it on as many things as you possibly can. Make sure that you put your logo on all your letterheads, envelopes, brochures, etc. because the more times people see your logo, the more times they will remember your company.
If your logo isn’t working it could be because it does not align with your business model. When developing a logo, make sure that it represents what your company is all about and take into consideration your mission, philosophy, etc. For example, if you are a bank don’t have a logo that is wild and crazy because when people look for a bank they mainly look for trust.
Creating a logo can be very easy, however creating a good logo can take time and effort. Remember when designing a logo you keep it simple, use it, and that it represents your business model.
